ABOUT ME

I’m Nada— a User Experience Designer with an interest in understanding people and their behaviors. I am currently pursuing my masters in HCI. You can read my full transition story here.

I believe in continuous self improvement and growth. I love meeting new people and experiencing new places— combine the two and you get travel (I have been to more countries than I have to states 😊). In my spare time I like to read about different subjects, draw and paint, design and sew clothes, and cook delicious meals 😋.

Fun fact: Nada is an Arabic name that means morning dew— think of the water droplets you see on flowers in an early morning 🌷

MY PROCESS

I am a process driven designer and I believe that the success of the any product changes people’s lives to the better. I use different methods to reach insights about users and explore design concepts.

User studies play a huge role in my design process. They are conducted in the form of interviews, observations and workshops. I believe in a continuous learning about users and making design decisions based on user research. I use tools like personas, user journeys, storyboards, and sketching to create understanding and generate design suggestions.

I am passionate about transforming users' needs into something that contributes to profitability for companies through UX. I am convinced that the value for both users and businesses arises in the use of digital services.
